Based out of Music City, Rachel Crick is a captivating artist who plays with a special combination of passion and technical skill. Emerging from her roots in classic country and old-time gospel music, which she learned from her steel guitar-pickin' grandfather, Rachel earned a Bachelor of Music in Education degree at Murray State University, where she served as concertmaster of the University Orchestra. Rachel's classical training, along with her superb improvisational skills, vocal and acting talent, and diverse musical influences, has resulted in an impressive resume of performing experience, ranging from theatrical stage productions, symphony orchestras, studio recording, to gigs with her own bands, performing original American roots, folk, country, jazz, rock, and blues. To use a term from the world of technology, Rachel's musical "bandwidth” is incredibly wide. In addition to her performing work, Rachel also runs a thriving Suzuki violin studio and is currently working towards her Master of Commercial Music degree at Belmont University in Nashville, TN.
